Cómplices

[edit]

@Franlm14: Sorry if I'm jumping ahead, but in addition to working on his album discography, I'm also going to start working on Cómplices. You're welcome to join in.

If can I help with something just let me know. I recently added the personnel and critical receptions (check the grammar hehe). It's possible add the cover for the special edition? Franlm14 (talk) 08:32, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Magiciandude: If exist a CD single, that does mean that the song was a single and can be added? For example: Disfraces, Vuelve

@Magiciandude:Nice work so far. I have the booklet. the studios and personnel are exactly as in the booklet. @Franlm14: Gracias, ¡Frank! :) You did a good job with the tour sections, it only just needs 1 or 2 reviews of the show and a basic summary of what Luis Miguel sung during the tours. You can look at Amarte Es un Placer or 33 as examples. Sorry for the inactivity, I've been busier than usual and I don't have Internet in my house at the moment. I asked this before, but you would like to expand the release history section? You just list the country the album was released in and its release date. Erick (talk) 23:34, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! I take care of that.Franlm14 (talk) 23:41, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Magiciandude:We should mention the Cómplices: Edición Especial Navidad? I think it was released only in Spain on 2 December 2008.ref Franlm14 (talk) 14:46, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes add that as well. Erick (talk) 15:25, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yo! You doing a really good job with this article and we are almost done! Just need to finish the commercial performance, then I'll do the lead to summarize the article and do any other cleanups. Then it's off to nominated for GA! Erick (talk) 19:31, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks to you, you're an expert making GA/FA articles. Do you think is necessary add the cover for the special edition? or even a sample from the album, "Si Tu Te Atreves" is on the single page.Franlm14 (talk) 19:50, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:NFCC, copyright images should be limited in an article. So in this case, the special edition is not needed because it doesn't add anything to enhance a reader's understanding of the album. But yes I agree for the sample, we should add one. Like I did with the other articles just make sure it has a critical commentary from a music journalist. Also see WP: SAMPLE so you can see the file format needed and how long the sample can be which is 10% of the total song. By the way, if we can get si tú te atreves and the tour good article, then cómplices can be another good topic. Just an idea I'm throwing out there Erick (talk) 20:06, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah for sure. Eventually we can get almost everything GA.

No culples a la noche

[edit]

@Franlm14: While waiting for Cómplices to be reviewed, I figured why not start working "No culples a la noche" in the meantime? There's really not much to say about this album so it ideally shouldn't take long to make. Disclaimer: I have never worked on a remix album before, so here are some inspirations from other remix albums that are GA I'm taking from: 4: The Remix, Born This Way: The Remix, Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes. Erick (talk) 18:03, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Great! Here is the booklet in case you needed it. Franlm14 (talk) 18:09, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think we don't have the realistic WW sales for this one. The information of the source that says that it sold 500k copies and 1 million for LM (2010 Album), is taken from the wikipedia in Spanish without any source that supports it. The 1.2 million for Cómplices is invented to, but it's more realistic if we add the special edition sales. Actually this source claims over 1 million for Cómplices. Franlm14 (talk) 18:24, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Franlm14 I'm now doing No Culples a la Noche while waiting for the 2010 album to be reviewed. This is my first time doing a remix album, so I will be drawing inspiration from other GA-class articles about remix albums. Erick (talk) 18:22, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks you! too much efficiency haha. I found this list of certified albums released in 2009 in Argentina, from the CAPIF page, but can't find any wayback link. Franlm14 (talk) 23:12, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Peak #89 at European charts I don't know where I can find the source. Franlm14 (talk) 23:17, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And the Allmusic archive has the positions blanked. Erick (talk) 01:14, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Luis Miguel (album)

[edit]

@Franlm14 Hey, I'm sorry, but I want to skip to Luis Miguel's self-titled album. I'll come back to No culpes a la noche later after probably Navidades this fall if that's okay with you. So far, I've added the singles for both the standard and deluxe edition of the album. Erick (talk) 14:53, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! I'll help you in what I can. Franlm14 (talk) 16:22, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Franlm14 How's it looking so far? Right now, we just need the tour, critical, and sales, and it should be good to go for GA. Erick (talk) 01:15, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
According to the credits the guitar solo of Tal Vez Me Mientes was performed by TOTO's guitar player Steve Lukather, and in Siento the chorus is performed by Take 6, just like the song Te Necesito. Do you think this is relevant to the article? the only source for this is the album liner notes. Franlm14 (talk) 19:37, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I think that's fine, could you also add the recording studio on the prose because I need a source. Erick (talk) 23:31, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Franlm14 Just checking in. Could you add sources to the tour and commercial performances? Afterwards, I will amend the lead and nominate it for GA. Erick (talk) 17:08, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
